Senior Accountant

About the Role

Ironline Manufacturing is hiring a Senior Accountant to own the month-end close and inventory accounting across its Atlanta and Calgary plants. You will run a 5-day close in NetSuite, keep standard costs accurate for two production sites, and mentor two staff accountants. The role is hybrid out of the Atlanta headquarters, with real ownership from day one and a clear line of sight to an accounting manager seat.

What You'll Do

• Own the month-end close on a 5-day cycle, including journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Manage inventory and standard cost accounting for two plants, including variance analysis and cycle count review
• Maintain and improve close workflows in NetSuite, removing manual steps where you find them
• Prepare audit schedules and support requests for the annual external audit
• Reconcile intercompany activity between the Atlanta and Calgary entities each month
• Mentor two staff accountants through review notes, feedback, and close assignments
• Partner with plant controllers and operations leaders on cost drivers and margin questions

What You'll Bring

• 4-7 years of progressive accounting experience, including ownership of a monthly close
• Hands-on inventory or cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
• Working knowledge of US GAAP, including inventory valuation and accruals
• Experience preparing audit schedules and fielding external auditor requests
• Proficiency in NetSuite or a comparable ERP, plus strong Excel skills
• Track record of reviewing junior accountants' work and giving clear, useful feedback

Nice to Have

• CPA license or active progress toward one
• Multi-entity experience across US and Canadian books
• Exposure to standard cost setting and annual cost roll processes
• NetSuite Advanced Inventory or SuiteAnalytics experience
